Accessibility
Effective October 27, 2026
Kēvens makes music for everyone, and this site should work for everyone too. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we test the site against them.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
- Images carry text descriptions; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and controls are checked for color contrast, and the layout holds up when text is enlarged to 200 percent and on small phone screens.
- Form fields have labels, and form messages are read out by screen readers.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off its animations, scrolling effects and moving backgrounds.
- Sound only plays after you turn it on, and the music player and video viewer can be paused at any time.
- We check every page with automated accessibility tests before each release.
Known limits
- Some older videos, and videos from YouTube and other services, do not yet have captions. We are adding captions to the videos we host, starting with the newest.
- Some press articles and pages we link to are run by others and may not meet the same standard.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site does not work for you, or you need anything on it in another format, email info@kevens.com with the subject "Accessibility". Tell us the page and what happened, and we will reply within five business days and work with you on a fix or another way to get what you need.
