Privacy policy

This policy covers kevens.com, the official site of the artist Kēvens. The site is run by KTF Music LLC ("we" or "us"). It explains what the site collects, why, who else receives it, and the choices you have. Questions go to info@kevens.com.

What we collect and why

When you contact us or ask about a booking

The Contact form and the EPK booking and press form ask for your name, email address, phone number, and details such as your company or outlet, the event date and city, and your message. We use them to answer you and to handle bookings and press requests.

When you join the Crew list

The Crew sign-up asks only for your email address. We use it to send notes from Kēvens, new music and news about shows. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.

When you sign up for messages from Kēvens

If you sign up for texts or WhatsApp, we collect your name, mobile number, country, the date and time you agreed, and the exact words you agreed to. We use them only to send you personal notes from Kēvens, new music, shows and news, and to read and answer your replies. In the United States and Canada messages come by text; everywhere else they come on WhatsApp. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Texts are sent by Kevens (KTF Music LLC), the registered sender of the Text with Kevens program.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your consent to receive messages with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. Our messaging provider (Twilio, and Meta for WhatsApp) delivers the messages for us and handles the data only to do that. Reply STOP at any time to stop all messages, START to come back, and HELP for help.

When you use the Forum or the Live room

A Forum account uses your email address, a username and a password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our database provider; we cannot read them. If you choose to add a phone number to comment during live broadcasts, we keep it with the consent words you agreed to. What you post in the Forum and the Live room is public, under your username. On the Live page the site also counts how many people are in the room; that count is not tied to your name unless you are signed in and taking part.

What every website receives

When you visit, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you ask for, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this to build profiles of visitors.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets one cookie, and only if you unlock the press kit. It also keeps a few small settings in your browser so the site works the way you left it. None of them is used for advertising or to follow you across other sites. Clearing your browser's data for kevens.com removes them all.

Set only after you enter the press kit password. Keeps the EPK unlocked for 30 days.
kv-visited (local storage)
Remembers that you have seen the opening intro.
kv-tip (local storage)
Remembers that you have seen the tip about turning the sound on.
kv-youtube (local storage)
Only if you choose Always allow YouTube. Remembers that choice.
Forum sign-in (local storage)
Keeps you signed in to the Forum. Only set after you sign in.
kv-sound, kv-pos, kv-trail, kv-intro, kv-mode, kv-live-preview, kv-live-remote (session storage)
Whether the sound is on, where the song is, the way back between pages, and the state of the intro and the Live room. Cleared when you close the tab.
kvb- items (session storage)
Short-lived copies of public replies to Bluesky posts shown on the Feed, so they load faster. Cleared when you close the tab.

Services that help run the site

These companies act on our behalf or provide the content you chose to load. Several of them are in the United States, so your information may be processed there. Links to Kēvens on other sites (Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, TikTok, Bluesky, VK) take you to those services, where their own policies apply.

Where you live

California and other US states with privacy laws. You can ask what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information except to provide what you asked for.

Europe, the United Kingdom, Brazil and elsewhere. We rely on your consent for YouTube videos, texts and the Crew list; on our agreement with you for Forum accounts; and on our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site, answering messages and showing public posts. You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your information, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. You must be 18 or older to create a Forum account or to sign up for messages. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and booking requests for as long as the conversation or booking needs them, and then for our business records. Forum accounts stay until you delete them or ask us to. For messages from Kēvens, we keep your number and consent until you opt out, and then keep the record of your consent and opt-out for as long as the law expects us to be able to show it.

Security

The whole site runs over an encrypted connection. Passwords are stored hashed, and only the people who run the site can see messages and sign-ups. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If the change is significant, we will say so on the site.
