Michael Lang of Woodstock music festival

A few years ago, I had the great pleasure and privilege to perform at the Fest Forum in California where one of the most influential concert promoters in the world caught my set. I am talking about Mr. Michael Lang, co-founder of the legendary Woodstock. We spoke on the phone several times and I remember one conversation in particular we were having on how Richie Havens’s performance at his festival influenced me to write my song Freedom.
